Transformational vs. Transactional
There are few more cornerstone concepts than the idea that love is transformative, not transactional. How does that look in our lives? It looks like loving people so that they can change in the way they hear God’s calling them to, versus a transactional love that holds they will only be loved if they change. Loved so that change is possible vs. Loved only if change happens - now there is a wonderful idea!
